When Should You Replace Your Chain?
A properly maintained drive chain is essential for smooth acceleration, efficient power transfer, and reliable electric dirt bike performance.
Replace your chain if you notice:
- Excessive chain stretching or slack
- Worn, stiff, or damaged links
- Unusual drivetrain noise
- Inconsistent chain tension
- Rust, corrosion, or visible damage
- Excessive wear on the chain and sprockets
For best results, inspect the front and rear sprockets when replacing the chain. Worn sprockets can accelerate wear on a new chain.
Important Fitment Information
This 86-link chain is not compatible with every ETM RTR model.
The 2025 ETM RTR and ETM RTR Lite originally use a different #35 chain configuration, while certain RTR Sport models with 14-inch rear wheels require a longer 92-link 420 chain.
Always verify your existing chain size, link count, sprockets, and wheel configuration before ordering.
Restore reliable drivetrain performance with the genuine Electro & Company ETM RTR Sport 420 86L Replacement Chain.
